NSBE Boston’s Pre-Collegiate Initiative (PCI) and Youth STEM programs engage K–12 students with opportunities to explore science, technology, engineering, and mathematics in fun and meaningful ways. We believe that early exposure is essential to shaping the next generation of innovators, and we’re committed to providing access, mentorship, and experiences that help students envision a future in STEM.
We host interactive STEM Days designed to spark curiosity and creativity among pre-collegiate students. Through experiments, robotics, and design challenges, participants experience the excitement of engineering and technology while learning teamwork, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Our panels and community events connect students with professionals and college mentors who share real-world experiences in STEM. These sessions expose youth to diverse career paths, role models, and opportunities, helping them see how their passions can become purposeful careers.
We support the development and growth of NSBE Jr. chapters throughout Greater Boston, creating local communities where young learners can explore STEM year-round. Each chapter offers mentorship, workshops, and leadership activities that empower students to learn, lead, and stay engaged on their STEM journey.
Become part of a network of Black engineers, technologists, and innovators shaping Boston’s STEM community. Connect, grow, and make an impact.
